SCORE, "Counselors to America's Small Business", is the
premier source for experience based small business
counseling and mentoring in the country. SCORE was
established more than forty years ago, is
headquartered in Herndon, VA and has
350 local chapters nationwide. More
than 13,000 volunteers provide
individual counseling - in person and
online - and business workshops for
aspiring entrepreneurs and small business
owners. Both working and retired
executives, senior managers, industry
experts, and business owners share their
expertise, lessons learned, and wisdom.

In FY2010, SCORE chapters conducted more
than 590,000 business counseling and workshop
sessions. The SCORE national website is a popular
site for small business owners, offering a wide range
of business resources and "how to" information. At
the SCORE/PartnerUp online community you can
search for opportunities, partners, properties, suppliers,
and get answers to pressing questions from people with relevant experience.

All SCORE counseling is free and confidential!
Fees for local SCORE workshops are $25 - $75.
